# Stake $RUST Token

To stake $RUST navigate to [**ShimmerSea Dex**](https://shimmersea.finance)**,** then click Earn -> Stake in the menu(upper left corner). There you will be presented with all available staking pools.<br>

There are 3 staking pools - for OG NFT holders, for normal NFT holders, and non-NFT holders. When you choose the pool you want to stake in, if it's either one of the first, you have to lock an NFT through the button.<br>

When the NFT is locked you will be presented with the option to stake $RUST. Hit the Stake button and a modal will appear where you can choose the amount of $RUST you want to stake. Click confirm and your $RUST will go to the pool.<br>

For maximum compounding effect, we suggest harvesting and re-staking the harvested amount daily.  NFA.&#x20;
