Ecosystem Fund
The RRCC Ecosystem Treasury Fund is a Smart Contract locked fund established at the launch of the RRCC on ShimmerEVM to provide funding for community led initiatives that create within the RRCC ecosystem. Allowing community members to create projects in music, comics, art, and defi that compliment and promote the RRCC and its community
Setup through our partners over at Hedgey.Finance the RRCC Ecosystem Fund is securely locked in a treasury lock-up contract for 100% transparency of the ecosystem development funds. You can track the distribution and observe all lock-up releases over on the RRCC Hedgey dashboard:
The first treasury unlock was on the 21st February 2024 with an initial release of 16,250,000 RUST, followed by monthly unlocks of 5,416,667 RUST over the following 24 months.
The treasury will be used for:
Funding community music projects
Funding community comic production and distribution
Supporting new brands and businesses created using RRCC IP
Funding community led initiatives that promote, develop, and grow the RRCC ecosystem
Establishing and supporting the community "Built by Bots" program
Community Governance
As the RRCC community DAO expands more and more control and governance over the use of Ecosystem funds will be handed to the community. In time establishing a community committee and governance system that can support fully community managed distribution of ecosystem funds.
